I learned only about G.A.S due to philmusic...

before I joined I only had a guitar, a 10 watts practice amp and a zoom g2.1u and I used that exclusively for 4 years

ngayon I have 5 stomp boxes, mahal na cables, bagong guitar, yung amp on the way naring papalitan. hehe (note that I only joined around january

more knowledge leads to more gas talaga...

oh well, kung walang internet walang akong mababasa na reviews and all, so in my opinion the inernet is the mother of GAS.

It's a psychological thing, ahdunno hehe tsaka inaacknowledge kasi natin na may such thing as GAS kaya in effect mapapabili ka talaga.

So to answer the question, no I'm not afraid that my GAS will be healed cause as long as the internet lives, may GAS parin and I'm sure di pa mamamatay yung Cyber world any time in the future.

before my PM life, one of the forumers here kept on telling me about gears, philmusic and such. i usually tell him before that tone is in the fingers and mas maganda pa magpractice (i'm a heavy practicer). i even met the owner of pm at one of my gigs (jim ayson) and when he said he owned this site, i just acknowledged and it basically meant nothing to me...

boy i was so wrong before. lol.

ah yes, ignorance is bliss. Dati rati sa pagpili ng unang gitara ang importante lang eh yung kulay at kung ano gamit ni idol hahaha.. The more exposed we are, the wiser we get, yet we become more difficult to please.

eto nga paps yung iniisip ko kahapon pa. GAS for me kasi is an insatiable urge to get something because i so want it, in contrast sa pagbili because i need it. parang "buying what i need" vs. "needing to buy".

ako my gas stopped. naubos kse budget ko sa bagong CP then nag shift ako sa drums for a while (first instrument learned)
kahit tumingin ako sa adds wlang effect wala talagang desire to buy...
dati khit walang pera GAS tlaga..
naudlot nga yung pag upgrade ng isang guitar ko kse parang nwalan talaga ng GAS
though nag pplay prin ako ng guitar everyday siguro nacontent lang ako sa meron ako ngayon and knowing na broke tlaga ako financially
