Oo eh.

I happen to own a Hyundai Eon and I had mine for more than a year now. Aaminin ko na na-love at first sight ako sa porma ng Eon kaya I decided to get it as my first car. Madami na ako nabasang sad stories about owning an Eon. One of them is the availability of spare parts lalo na yun aux fan, na kadalasan bumibigay sa 3rd year ng oto.

kahit anong iwas baka after a while umalis yung katabi ko then montero ang pumalit

DTI releases investigation report, recommendations on Montero Sport SUA case

Today, the Department of Trade and Industry released the result of its two-week investigation--as well as its recommendations--of the "sudden unintended acceleration" case filed against Mitsubishi Motors Philippines involving the Montero Sport SUV. For the record, of the reported 97 complainants who claimed their vehicles were suffering from SUA, only 24 actually filed formal complaints with DTI.

The entirety of the 15-page report is shown below, but just in case you don't have the time nor the inclination to go through the whole transcript, we'd like to give you the salient points here.

I don't think totoo ang SUA. well my take on this is Driver error ang nakikita kong mali dito is yung design nung pedal ng montero sport. nakita ko na pantay kasi yung brake at accelerator.

^agree on this one

yes and our culture of finger pointing. Preno or Emergency brake would have prevented it. kung nasa wastong pag iisip ka at hindi ka nag panic walang SUA

mga sirs ano ba madalas ung mga dapat tingnan when wanting to buy 2nd hand cars? specifically on the parts that are prone to breakage or wear and tears due to prolonged use.

penny pinching mode kasi, can't afford to buy bnew ones ayaw ng family namin na may pinagkakautangan/monthly amortization kaya ayun ang gusto nila isang bagsakan na mura lang pero dapat walang sira at all ung sasakyan, hence the question

thank you sa sasagot! I appreciate it

The best option you have is mag sama ka ng trusted mechanic if wala ka alam sa oto.

Check the engine if it has leaks lalo na sa cylinder head at sa block. kahit sa ilalaim silipin mo if my leaks.

Buksan mo din yung radiator check if may traces ng oil or medyo mudy, rusty, there is a high probabilty na for top overhaul na yan

let the engine run din remove the oil cap check if kulay gatas or chocolate if yes! top over haul na talaga yan. if not check if malakas ang talsik ng oil palabas ng valve if grabe yung talsik may possibility na blow by yan

If matic check mo yung shifting. it should shift kapag umabot ng 2 or 2.5 ang rpm higher than that may posssibility na sliding na ang clutch niyan = Malaking gastos

check mo yung aircon if lumalamig ang check the compressor for any traces of oil

check the shocks if may leaks din and also the rubber bushings if may mga cracks na if meron ay palitin na yan for sure

katukin mo din ang mga panels kung malutong pa at tunog lata pa. if tunog statue ni jollibee yan or mcdo eh makapal na masilya niyan.

check the nose frame if malinis pa at walang mga yupi or marks ng pinag dugtungan. kasi baka bangga ang front end niyan.

at ang pinaka importante check mo yung papers. mas safe kapag naka pangalan sa owner at hindi naka open deed for sale

usually the bank will offer you to renew, pero its always a good practice to check your insurance on your own.

not so, they're mostly against idiot drivers.

i've yet to see a seasoned driver make an SUA allegation. and by seasoned i mean to say drivers who know
exactly what they do behind the wheel, tipong spirited driving enthusiasts and the such.

i don't believe in SUA, madami lang talagang [grape] sa daan. floor mats stuck the gas pedal? jesus please,
brakes are designed to overpower the engine, otherwise you can't begin to slow a car down. dadalawa na nga
