mga paps ano ba yung "Toyota Idle Up"?

I think this is used in case you need to jump start a vehicle. I remember this feature was included in the old models of Toyota 4runner (not sure if they still have it). It causes hard starting if luma na and dried up na ang battery.

some research:
Idle-up button/knob, What’s this?
All Diesel Models: This increases the idle speed. Useful when warming up the vehicle in very cold weather, powering a winch or jump-starting another vehicle. On some vehicles this will only operate when in park and/or neutral.

an idle up solenoid uses vacuum from your engine to detect when the ac compressor is turned on and automatically
adjusts the vehicle's idle rpm to account for the load on the engine. without it, whenever your ac compressor is engaged,
your idle will drop. mostly for carb vehicles, pero alam ko pati mga old style efi uses a similar vacuum activated device.
allows your vehicle to produce enough electricity for the ac, and enough power for the engine to make the job of turning
the compressor easily. mabubuhay ka naman without it, pwede mano mano mo iblip yung throttle but not everyone is
sharp enough to respond accordingly, nor does everyone have fine foot control to feather the gas by a few hundred rpms.

kaya tinawag na toyota idle up kasi nauna to lumabas sa 4/5k aisan carb with the anti-dieseling solenoid. and aisan (69mm)
downdraft was the oe carburetor for toyota in the 80's.

Sedula (c/o town hall) ............................. P25.00
Brgy. Clearance ...................................... P15.00
Police Clearance fee (c/o town hall) ....... P60.00
Computer fee (c/o police office) .............. P25.00
Misc. ....................................................... P45.00
TOTAL ..................................................... P170.00

haha kalokohan naman yan. kailangan natin marunong (and by this i mean properly educated, well mannered drivers)
slate with the police / nbi does not equate to being the kind of driver we need.

Nung mag-renew ako last June, wala namang clearance na hiningi. Just give them your old license. Trouble is, I got my new card last October! And sabi sa akin.

If mitsu ka, bring it to raymond sarol sa san juan for check up. It's an electro-mechanical device that bypasses the servo.

Cons nito, bagsak idling mo kapag cold start. Parang diesel kailangan painitin.

yep. imagine, all over the world, dito lang nagkaron ng ganyang issues. sa ibang bansa non-existent.
we must have a lot of people who do not pay enough attention or too distracted to be driving. if we remove
these people from the road instead, napaka luwag ng traffic. sa panahon ngayon e hindi alam kung alin ang alin
sa pedals ng oto e nakakapasa at nagkakalisensya. fock that.
