Newbie here... hi im francis, x guitarst po.. sana you could share some opinion about the topic.. sa guitar kc.. i used to have many exercises and techniques.. sa drums, since im a newbie and wala pa akong kilalang drummers... kailngan ko ng mga opinions and brand new set of learning so i could apply it.. hnd kasi ako sanay ng walang mapractice.. sana ma welcome niyo ako sa drummer world.. thanks!!

I just wonder how some can make 16 beats on hihats with one hand sound like using two hands... Makes me think I made the right decision playing guitar.

Practice, practice, and more practice... Plus an actual application of the Moeller technique, which really helps me with my 16th note grooves. I also play in a relaxed manner.

I wasn't really measuring how fast I can play it. So I took my metronome and checked.....

Around 100bpm, more or less.

Beyond that, I need to play it with two hands.

I get to do a lot of these 16th note grooves with my band. One of my favorite 16th note grooves is Jay-Z's Can I Getta.

Nagagawa ko yung "In Da Club" dati, trip-trip lang kami nung dati kong banda hehe.

Can I Getta has a more syncopated kick drum part which locks in with the bass lines. That's why I find this song so fun to play.

the fastest i can go with my right hand is 112 and 100 on my left. yan na yung pinaka kumportable ako na speed na kayang sabayan, beyond that, mukha na kong natatae at mejo tumataas yung shoulders ko hehehe
