Which is better: A Global, GTX, or an Entry Level Fernando Kit worth Php. 10,500.00 in Raon?

Sad to say pero... :|

Charge to experience nalang yan dude..

try to compare the hardwares of those kits.
bilangin mo yung mga lugs.dapat EVEN(6-8 lugs)

personally i'd go to fernando kits. ok na din yung hardwares.remo pa minsan yung heads :-)

Recommended ba i repair ko to and buy new parts or maginvest nlng ako para sa bagong drum set?

cymbals na unahin mo bro since ang drums natotono at kahit pano kahit gano pa ka-generic ang drums pwedeng pagandahin ang tunog nyan. ang cymbals once low end will always be a low end and cheap sounding.

actually depende sa sound na habol mo first of all ang main deciding factor sa pagbili ng drumset. knowing na birch yung prefered choice of wood mo and maybe maple as an alternative, anong specific sound ba yung hanap mo?

konting tips:

Hoops:
Triple Flanged - more open and ringy
Diecast - more focused and less sustain

Heads:
Single Ply - much like an equivalent of triple flanged, more open and ringy
Double Ply - much like an equivalent of diecast, more focused and less sustain

actually, it's all a matter of personal taste at the end of the day. decide first kung anong sound ang hanap mo, after which mas madali nang makapili ng set na pasok sa panlasa mo. for example, pwedeng TAMA Superstar (birch + diecast) or Gretsch Catalina (maple + triple flange) to name a few.. about head preferences naman, either remo or evans, it would depend again on the sound you're looking for. pwedeng mix and match (for example - diecast with single ply or triple flange with double ply) feel free to mix and match; experiment to your heart's desire until makuha mo yung sound na hinahanap mo! cheers!

Hello to the drummers!

I have now entered your world. Just bought a Fernando starter kit fit for my 15 year old son. 5pc package included Planet Z hi hat and crash/ride.

Had my own kit 25 years ago (long gone now) and I had no trouble setting it up.

I would appreciate any tips in care and set up and of course little known secrets that you keep from the guitar players.

Soon I will be a lurker in your classifieds for baby steps upgrades.

Peace to all.
