mga sir magandang araw po...ahm dayo po ako rito.gitarista po ako..pero kailangan ko po nang tulong about drums.wala po akong alam dito eh.

yung kaibigan ko po kasi nagbabalak na bumili nang drums.bale beginner din po sya sa drums at medyo wala ring alam.
may nagbebenta po kasi nang drums sa kanya na 2nd hand...Zildjian po tatak nang buong set.

may nakapagsabi po kasi sakin na Zildjian ay Cymbals lang ang mina-manufacture at walang drums na Zildjian..totoo po ba yun??if ever po eh di Fake yung binebenta sa kaibigan ko??

the best way sir is picturan mo po, depende po sa brand/condition/ and price,..

parang may nakita din kasi ako sa sulit noon,.. pinalitan ng Zildjian lahat ng emblem or logos ng bawat drum shells
baka akala nung nakabili zildjian talaga ang brand ng drumkit,..

post nalang pics sir and yung pricing ng may ari,..

or simply tell us as detailed as possible  :wink:

-10k lang po ang budget ko. tapat na po yun.
-sana yung kumpleto na yung may cymbals na [kahit stock yung cymbals basta aganda ang tunog]
-kahit 2nd hand pwede basta good condition at maganda ang sound quality
-metro manila po ang place ko

Sir saan po nakakabili ng mga generic na lugs para toms and snare at nasa magkano? Kailangan ko din po ng bracket para sa rack tom, yung nagiipit sa tom holder nabarag na kasi. Generic lang po kailangan ko yung pinakamura, generic lang kasi yung drumset ko dito na aayusin. Quezon City area ako, salamat mga master!

May balak akong biling gear pero sa sobrang gulat ko magkaiba ang presyo ng parehong Music Store at mas mura pa sa isa ng halos 40%.

OT;
Bakit magkaka-iba ang presyo ng JB Music sa iba't ibang branches nila? Tulad sa JB Music Trinoma at SM North. May mga items na mas mura sa SM North compared sa Trinoma and vice versa. Minsan naman sobrang mura sa JB Trinoma kesa sa SM North. Tas ganun din iba nanaman din ang presyo sa Manila Music at Salongga Music. Knowing na iisang company lang sila but their prices vary depending on what branch. Minsan tuloy kailangan ko pang puntahan ang iba't ibang branch para malaman kung san mas makakatipid. :lol:

Hindi ko nga rin gets eh. Nag-inquire ako ng Gibraltar 6611 DB sa JB last month. Sa JB-ATC, 7,150php ang sale price tapos hanggang Jan16 daw yung Sale nila. Pagpunta ko sa JB-Southmall, 8.8k daw ang sale price, tapos hanggang Dec31 lang yung sale! Ba't kaya ganun. :lol:

Himig Lakas ay ang October Sale ng JB Music at iba pa po ang Christmas Sale. Tama rin po na mas malaki ang discount kapag Himig Lakas na. Christmas Sale nila last year 2010 started nung Nov.16,2010. Hanggang Jan.16,2011 na lang sila.

May nakita ata akong thread dito minsan na "Bakit laging sale sa JB Music?". Please correct me if I am wrong, I can't recall. So ayun na nga, bakit nga ba laging sale sa JB Music at bakit iba iba ang presyo nito sa iba't ibang branch?

Di ko pa tuloy mabili yung gear na gusto kong kunin, nagbabakasakali na baka mas mura nanaman dun sa isang branch pa. :lol:

San po nkakabili ng Practice pad? maliban po sa lazer ugn mura, or kung pde khit 2nd hand

Not really a first time buyer, but its the first time, after 10 years, I am making an educated choice.
Old kit is a 5 pcs Genesis kit from Perfect Pitch. somebody who borrowed it changed skins to remo I think.  but drums got flooded and hardware a bit rusted.

On ZBT cymbals, happy with them.  Bought Pearl Elims dbl pedals.

Wifey wants to buy me a new set for my Bday.  Budget 25-30k, for kit only.  Hiya ako eh kaya limit to that.

What set should I buy for a small 25sqm concrete enclosed basement? We play 90's music, the likes of the goo goo dolls, gin blossoms, new radicals, eheads, Incubus, RHCP, Cake, Weezer, Black Crowes, the like.

Thanks!  I love this forum!  I have learned a lot.  Now back to work...

Welcome to this thread sir Chipstah. I would suggest you try Gretsch Catalina Maple 5pc. kit if you only prefer a single Floor Tom. It's much cheaper than the other model of Catalina Maple which has an extra Floor Tom of different size and depth that makes it a 6pc kit. Another choice, if you're only looking for a kit without cymbals, try the Yamaha Gig Maker. It's good enough for the 90's music. It's available in any Perfect Pitch or Yamaha Music Stores. It was once my choice but then I still want Gretsch Drums as my ultimate choice. Good luck!
