During those days, kapag wala si Bamboo sa gig - Rico Blanco can fill in the shoes of Bamboo (kahit na medyo sumasablay ng konti tuloy pa din ang gig) . But never did Bamboo fill in the shoes of Rico Blanco kapag wala si Rico- chances are hindi na tuloy ang gig....hindi kayang gawin ni Bamboo ang ginagawa ni Rico.

Voice quality and showmanship lang ang lamang ni Bamboo.

Pero when it comes to songwriting, arranging, playing various instruments - playing the guitar while singing, playing the keyboards while singing --- Praise goes to Rico!

i just saw media in focus sa anc ni cheche lazaro. the topic was philippine music. they interviewed rico blanco for it and i didn't know that he is the main composer for RM now. cheche lazaro even said that RM is the most awarded band in the country! geez..galing naman nila...at ni rico. i found new love and respect for rico tuloy.

I never liked Rico's image. He's hair before is "emo-ish". his image is like a boy-band image. In terms of singing Bamboo, he can sing & rap at the same time. Bamboo's lyrics are really deep.

Sa tingin ko magaling pa rin si Rico sa songwriting at vocals, pero si Bamboo pa rin yung nag-angat sa Maya dahil mas sensual yung vocals nya.

correct me if i'm wrong.. i think it was more likely a "thom yorke" image of radiohead but not "emo-ish"..
