Will try this setup pero baka mag settle kami for a good Mic para pwede madala sa mga gigs. We're targeting an Audix OM2 or OM5. What are your thoughts regarding this type of Mic?

Sir You can also try the AKG D5, a few hundred cheaper than Shure SM58. We auditioned it a few weeks ago and ended up buying the AKG D5.

Just got the Samson Q7 today at Audiophile Market Market.  Got the display unit kasi yung natirang unit lemon.  Better try it at the store and compare two Q7's.

Tama, no compressor muna. Try to "manually compress" the loudest peaks and smooth out the performance first.

Be wary also of polar patterns, Sir. Audix mics have hypercardioid polar pattern, the AKG D5 and Samson Q7 are supercardioid, The SM58 and Sennheiser e835 are cardioids. It would help a lot if mic users are aware of these as well as the lobes behind the mics (hypercards have bigger lobes than supercards) to optimize their sound, specially if the mic remains on the mic stand or if the user holds the mic head instead of the body (ala Carrie Underwood) while singing/speaking. Good micmanship (sorry, just coined that now) should take into consideration mic polar patterns, IMHO.

uhmm, completely no idea regarding this.  :nosebleed:

I don't really have the knowledge about Microphones, speakers and whatsoever in the audio stuff. So that's why I'm asking for your help here on what to do, and what to use. BUT, really appreciated and thankful to those who are posting their inputs here to help me. Thank you so much guys!
