Newbie here, Pahelp nman po for choosing an acoustic guitar.

Hi mga ka philmusic! pasensya na, newbie palang kasi ako dito. Need ko lang help niyo for choosing an acoustic guitar. Hindi ko naman masasabi na newbie palang ako interms of guitar playing because I've been playing for about 8 years(all acoustics). pero di naman din ako ganun kagaling, siguro marunong lang hehe. pero inaamin ko na newbie palang ako sa pagpili ng mga gitara, so need ko help niyo mga ka PM..And now I want to buy a new acoustic guitar for myself kasi yung naauna kong dalawang guitara ay di medyo kagandahan pero sayang naman kung di gagamitin..Well, the first one was a gift from my mother, which is matagal ko nang naibigay sa isang maliit na chapel sa probinsya namin, di ko na matandaan ang brand. Yung pangalawa naman was a gift from my father, made from cebu na recently was broken at ang masakit pa dun ay hindi ako ang nakasira!!! So ngayon gusto kung bumili ng pinakunang self purchase na acoustic guitar na for practice, pambahay, jamming at di ako mahihiyang ipagmayabang sa mga kaibigan ko hehe. Hindi naman kasi kami kayaman, so may 10,000 or less budget lang ako for it.So tulungan niyo naman ako pumili kung alin sa mga ito: (or suggest ng iba)

mas maganda ba ang mga guitara ng phoebus kaysa sa mga 5 gitarang napili ko?
at ano ang masasuggest mo na model ng phoebus tol?

Marami ang nag rerecommend dito ng Phoebus kasi bukod sa maganda at sulit sya, panalo ka pa sa after service nila 

Depende sayo kung anong body type ang gusto mo.
Example yung Phoebus PG30 is a Dreadnought Type tapos yung PG40 naman is OM Type yung body.
Para sakin yung PG30 is bright sounding at yung PG40 naman ay may mas warm na tunog.

Magkano ba ang buget mo?

10k po ang budget ko..gusto ko yung glossy finish ang body..ok lang sa akin kung may cut or dreadnought sya. Tsaka ano yung OM, yan ba yung manipis?

@ TS, yung YAMAHA F310 at Fender lang yung mejo decent para saakin sa choices mo. pero sa budget mo, you'll get a better guitar kung magttry ka sa phoebus.

basing from experience naman to sir, I've owned a Yamaha, a Fender, a Takamine. And I've also tested an Epiphone and a washburn. the alvarez, never pa.

I can honestly say, maganda yung PG30 na sinasabi ni sir robertshanepascual. ako mismo, naka Takamine EG340C na, pero gusto ko parin bumili ng PG30 or PG50 kasi iba yung body nung sound niya. mas buo compared to my takamine.

best to try the phoebus sa Guitar Pusher bro. they are very nice and accommodating naman.

I've been hearing stuff about these low-mid priced Chinese acoustic guitars. Maganda yung materyales and even yung build quality, pero sumasablay daw yung scale. Eh mahirap pa naman mahalata yun while you're testing a guitar for the first time. Let the buyer beware.

Kung may kilala kang marunong tumingin ng gitara, I suggest you bring him when buying. If you are interested in used guitars, an old Morris is a good buy, but you really need someone who knows how to check it.

IIRC, Guitar Pusher have their acoustic guitars properly set up (by them) before selling. Nung tumambay ako dun, someone was feeling a nut (of a Phoebus, I won't tell who lol.)

Tambay ka dun OP. Test mo kung anong guitar ang swak sa feel mo, budget and looks. Youc an also get a feel of their electrics as well. GAS.
