I've tested an EC-330 from a friend, The guitar was ok unplugged, although it has some issues. Yung nut sa may headstock is not curved. mababa yung 4th string sa 3rd at 5th and mas mataas naman yung 1st sa 2nd you can feel it pag ni-rest mo yung kamay mo sa 1st fret.
then i plugged it directly on my amp.
Basically defined yung sound ng amp ko kahit 20watt lang, malinaw yung dirt section when i'm using my Ibanez RGT with EMG81 on bridge, nabasa ko na maganda daw yung ALH200 ES Designed actives. but mejo na disappoint ako nung narinig ko yung dirt sound. masyadong boomy yung low frequency to the point na di na define yung gain character ng amp, so the outcome is less gain siya and muddy kahit naka 12 o clock lahat yung knob ko sa amp. and adjusting the knobs only make things worst.
Muddy ba talaga yung ESP Designed actives compare sa EMG81? or it's just me?
BTW. Mejo nabastusan din pala ako sa isang staff sa lyric on mall of asia. I was asking him also about the same issue and about his personal opinion nicely then he said.
