Old setup ko yan. Bale ganito yun chain.

Peavey VK112 > SM57 > Xenyx mixer > Creative Audigy soundcard (line-in) > Reaper

Phillips headphones gamit ko dyan. Sobrang ma-bass yun para sa akin.

Tumatapang talaga tunog ng dirty guitars kapag na-double track na. Pero ang nipis kapag single track tapos nasa gitna.

Eto na pala yun mix 2 ng last recording ko. Replaced the entire kit to give it a whole new overall texture. Personally, mas nagustuhan ko yun tunog nito.

kumusta quality ng Xenyx mixers? at par ba sa USB interface ang sound quality? I'm thinking of purchasing a small one para may stereo input yung interface ko na galing sa multiple sources.

Sa old setup ko, it did just fine for what I intended it to do. Oks ang headroom syempre.

As for the difference in recording quality, sorry pero hindi ko pa nasusubukan magrecord sa Scarlett 2i2 ng naka-mic kaya di ko pa masasagot yan.

Ayaw ko kasi pakawalan yung M-Track ko kasi ang mahal ng 4in interface. Nag google naman ako about running two interfaces at the same time pero depende pala sa driver/model. So inisip ko pwede ko dagdagan ng input yung interface ko kung idadaan ko muna sa mixer, as follows:

Mic 1>Xenyx XLR in 1> (hard pan L)|
Mic 2>Xenyx XLR in 2> (hard pan R)|>>Stereo Out >>M-Track Stereo in 1

wala namang kaso sakin yung bleed kasi same source naman ang micing (say, acoustic guitar). Just curious kung papangit yung signal ko dahil sa Xenyx. Ok naman yung mga mixes ni Boxedking kaya napatanong ako.

yung ginawa niyo kasi or plano niyo kasi sa Xenyx is use it as a mixer. not an interface. as a mixer, it is pretty decent. yung output niya as interface sa mga xenyx usb series, hindi okay.

Ay oo! Yun mga USB interface ng Behringer, I suggest stay away from those. Ang baba daw ng headroom based on reviews I've read before. Sa product na yun mae-experience yun "you get what you pay for."

mismo. sobrang baba talaga. kaya nga sterile sounding for me kasi di ko maboost ng ayos through the interface, you need to boost stuff sa DAW

may technique ba kayo para mas madaling malaman kung ano ang optimal position ng mic sa cab/speaker? assuming mag-isa ka lang, ang hassle kasi ng position-record-playback-adjust-rinse and repeat. unless sobrang isolated ng cans mo diba.
