My favorite band. :P

Paborito ko talaga yung SCIENCE at Make Yourself na album nila... parang nagmemellow down na sila ngayon, pero maganda pa rin ang tugtugan nila!

Nung una na disappoint ako sa Light Grenades, pero sa dami ng beses na pinakinggan ko parang nagiging nakakaadik na rin. haha :P baka tumatanda na ako. o.O

di ko nagustuhan direction nila nung nagpalit sila ng bahista... and yes favorite ko rin talaga science and make yourself... but imho make yourself is the best album nila... walang panget na kanta... walang mga filler e... mula privillege to nowhere fast to i miss you etc... actually lahat nga hehehe.

parang sila rin nagpauso ng mga acoustic na kanta... halos lahat ng kanta nila may acoustic version... pansin niyo pagtapos sumikat ng incubus saka nagsidamihan mga acoustic dito sa pinas? la lang... obserbasyon lang.

Incubus! Make Yourself is probably my favorite album of all time. Walang kasing perfectly produced album, IMO.


I'm listening to "I Miss You" right now, actually. :-D

Mike Einziger is an underrated guitarist. hanep sya magmix ng pedals to create his tone, he has chops, he can rip it up with fierce solos or just play unflinching rhythm guitar. ayos tong bandang to. one of the few modern rock bands i listen to. S.C.I.E.N.C.E. ang best album nila for me, timless yung "A Certain Shade of Green" :)

Mas gusto ko tlga mix nila ni Dirk Lance kesa dun sa bagong bassist, though..

one of kind at talagang alang kapareho!

sobrang teknikal nila at astig..

sabi nga nung vocalist ng PapaRoach (sino nga ulit yon?),

after 10years, INCUBUS daw ang aabangan nila, at titignan ang evolution ng mga tugtog nila!

master brandon at mike e! astig!

(anu kaya future ng mga lil' brothers nila sa Audiovent?) hehehe...  :?

personally, i loved the old school incubus (Fungus Amongus to Science) and started to dislike the era afterwards lalo na ung Crow album. Nawala kc ung pagiging "jazzy" ni Mike which i loved during their early days..

sa tingin ko dahil yan sa pagkawala ng bassist nila dati n si dirk lance.. alam ko full time funk-jazz kasi un eh.. kung titingnan nyo ung mga kanta, sya halos gumagawa ng mga funk/jazz n tunog (summer romance, deep inside, etc basta halos lahat ng mga kanta sa S.C. I. E. N. C. E.).

tapos nung nawala na sya, hindi n sila tumutugtog ng jazzy songs. like sa album ng a crow left of the murder..

i dont know.. its just my idea.. hehe.

di ba may bago sila yung Anna Molly...

Pero sa 'kin wala na sila gaanong impact..parang wala nang kakaiba sa music nila ngayon. They didn't even try experimenting a little bit...Sayang yung tagal nilang nawala.prang wala ring nangyari.. ang payat pa ni papa brandon :lol:

may nabasa ako dati at sinabi ni dirk...na kaya daw sya umalis...dahil ndi na sila nag kakasundo ni brandon...may times na 3 weeks syang ndi pinapansin si brandon.
