I just got my brand spankin' new pair of KRK RP8s and I have a few gripes...
1. They sound so damn good, and don't lie, that I think I seriously have to redo all my mixes from day 1.
2. They sound so damn good, that I think I need to retune my control room to make the most out of the HF attenuators.
3. Not as expensive as the ADAMs and Genelecs, but can surely cost you less Starbucks visits.
4. The woofers remind me of playing Darts.
5. They can get way too loud without losing detail, but then you'll be deaf in the next few hours. (The problems of nearfield monitoring)
6. They sound so good I wonder if I should get high end TRS cables to see if they really don't lie.
7. They sound so good that I can hear some awful oscillations in some classic recordings. Think guitar hum in some old Zeppelin records.
8. They sound so good I can clearly hear John Bonham's bass pedal squeaks.
9. They sound so good I think I should have bought them long ago.
10. They sound so good I thought I must start mixing 5.1 surround but it'll cost me 2.5x more.
