used to be a fan nung revenge of the giant robot album (yeah soopafly and amen!!!), yung sa method of breathing, yung glass is broken lang yung medyo trip ko...moving to emo was a BAD move for them IMHO...

oh and yeah for those saying na astig sila pag live...di ako naastigan sa madumi tumugtog eh sorry...yung tipong papaikutin mo yung gitara at dahil dun sumisigaw na sa annoying feedback yung amp na cranked ng sobrang lakas.

Mong's guitarwork is the only thing that I listen to in their music.


Miggy brings in the token poseur element in that group. Just read his replies during interviews. The guy desperately tries to get music cred not by talent but sporting an obscurantist demeanor. In all of the interviews that I've read, there was never a single one that he didn't resort to name-dropping semi-obscure or obscure bands and artists.

Mong is a very talented player, i never liked the band ever since but when i first met mong when i fixed his rig bout 6 years ago i found out how talented he is. Chicosci is a product of 5 guys pitching in it doesnt reflect what mong can really do. yeah maybe thats their artistic direction ryt now as long as they are having fun thats a good thing. i guess they are not trying to please us (no one can ever please everyone anyway) they are just trying to have fun playing music and have a career at the same time. i dont think that they are forcing us to like them. trip nila yun di naman nila pinakikialaman trip natin eh.
