Pero mas maganda pa rin yung tunog nung Ice delay ng TimeLine or delay + BlueSky shimmer compared to the Echolution 2's Halo delay.

Too mainstream. I don't want to be stereotyped as a Nigel Hendroff nuthugger.

But seriously, I can already get the sounds that I want from my current gear (Empress Superdelay and Diamond Memory Lane Jr.). No need to switch to another delay pedal just because it's the latest gadget in the market.

That, and I love cascading delay pedals on the fly when playing live. I can't have that flexibility with the TimeLine; everything needs to be pre-meditated and pre-programmed when using multi-delay processors such as the TimeLine and the TimeFactor. I actually considered the Flashback X4 since it's more of a "play-type" pedal like the DL4, but it just takes up too much space.

napaisip ako dun ah. tama ka dun na everything kailangan preset muna. hehe. Still thinking sa memory lane jr. na yan, or any other delay na warm sounding with Tap tempo na gusto ko ipalit sa DD5.  :)

Here's a nice analog delay with tap tempo: http://www.youngpedals.com/timestomp.html

Nasubukan ko na yan. Maganda tumunog. Mas hassle lang nang kaunti yung power supply since it requires either 12-18VAC or 18-24VDC. Di sya standard 9VDC, negative tip.

Anyone tried the NUX Time Force? Seems like a copy of the TC nova delay. I can't afford delays more than 5K budget kasi.  :-D

Got a Zoom-70CDR to use as my main (well, my only) delay for a few gigs.  I hope it proves roadworthy.   :-P

Medyo nakakalito lang in my experience sa umpisa lalo na't medyo madetalye yung CDR.
Kailangan gamay na gamay mo na siya bago ka sumalang or else you might end up with messing up with your sound on-stage. Shunga shunga lang ako nung perstaym ko. hahah

Nonetheless, sulit yan.

i recently got a delay pedal, a gekko, replacing my mad professor deep blue delay, and here is what i can say

delays can sometimes be great when used for soloing, but not for rhythm, or vice versa
they can bee too fat sounding, making your base tone muddy or too bright and un-organic

i've always wanted a delay that seems like a reverb, something that is in between bright and round, something that will keep my base tone and is organic at the same time, very subtle modulation which does not drown your tone, no chorus wobble,  something i can use for solos and rhythm parts...

thanks to my bandmate Edgie who introduced Himmelstrutz pedals to me. I've never got interest in them as they are so expensive. if you get a chance to try a gekko delay, just do, it'll be worth it

here is my #33 gekko pedal from the man himslelf, Joakim Hedeby of Himmelstrutz Pedals

more details on his site

http://www.himmelstrutz.com/gekko.htm

i forgot, it can also act as a clean boost, just set Mix to ZERO  :)

Analog delay? Mooer AnaEcho lang ang alam kong analog talaga na delay na beloy 4k.

Kaso kung analog-voiced na digital delay, marami-rami yan. Most of our local delay pedals are analog-voiced digital na based sa Rebote. Karamihan sa kanila nasa 2k-4k.

Personally, I'd prefer a Line6 Echo Park or a good condition Korg Toneworks 301DL sa budget na 4k. Though medyo chambahan na yun sa presyong ganun.
