All local luthiers are great... it's just sad to know that there are fellow local musicians pulling them down.

As I said before, I guess Max's work is great value for the price but he is in NO WAY equal to some of the better ones.

mismo to mga sir di dapat mang husga natesting ko yung gitara ni joey na nightbird with customize neck ni mang max wala akong masabi wizard neck talaga siya and to think na 1st time ko gagamit ng ibang gitara sa gig,coz syempre sanay ako sa gitara ko pero nung nagamit ko yung gitara w/ customize neck ni mang max sobrang komportable ako galing ng craftsmanship feeling ko di ka sasabit pag gamit mo customize ni mang max! sana iwasan na ntin crab mentallity be proud kasi pinoy si mang max and iwasan na din nating manira ng ibang luthier yun lang po...long live mang max!

He has all the luxuries and ebs in life pero look at his video at youtube playing a one note sustain on his beloved guitar. Sayang ang malaking ginastos na pera if you're just gonna play a 1 note sustain, diba? As I can see it, most of the people posting in this thread can give "Mr. One Note Sustain" a run for his money in terms of talent. Enjoy posting guys! Back to regular programming!

12"x20" usually ang dimensions ng kahoy na ginagamit for body. do the math na lang at ma-compute kung ilan ang kasyang gitara jan sa kahoy mo. galing ng kahoy na nakuha mo, 2 1/2" ang kapal. more than enough na yun sa thickness ng body.
