well I have a behringer ultra distortion.. sometimes it sounds good, sometimes it doesnt.. I've had it for two years.. no problems at all..
I also bought a package strat guitar+amp along with the stompbox 2 years ago.. at that time, I was just looking for a practice amp, and since a guitar is included so, why not? they are all still working fine.. GM108 15w SS modeling amp..
and I practiced on doing my own setups with this guitar.. truss rod adjustment, saddle-fretboard radius, intonation, string heights... and the reason why I can't part with it is because the neck is just too good.. it's thick and more of a "D" shape.. I just love the feel of the neck, nevermind the frets and the nut, as well as the tuners.. but a little care on winding the strings, the tuners work just fine.. the neck angle is pretty rough.. it angles like a "V" with the body.. I had to correct that and put thin credit card material wrapped in a piece of construction paper shims to the neck pocket and screwed it up.. I thought I was going to mess it up, but it didnt.. it now plays like a million bucks to me..
that guitar is the most resonant electric guitar I've ever had.. it's louder than my MIM Std tele unplugged.. at high gain, it kind of gives off a flanger like sound.. maybe it's just the pickups going microphonic.. but in normal situations, it's mellow and bit on the trebly side.. which I like.. excellent when played with a reverb..
