questions:

#1. Are you leaving the beater on or off the drum skin?
#2. What technique are you using? sliding/heelup or down/etc?
#3. Which of these technique is versatile meaning madaling i handle, accurate if you need to those triplet, 32nd note going, easy to incorporate dynamics with? salamat po!

it would be better din to show a video, pwede post sa you tube. so that all of us will see the motion of the foot! tnx Godbless

#1. Are you leaving the beater on or off the drum skin?

ako ginagamit ko pareho (on and off) para ma emphasize mo yung short notes sa bass drum pag on the skin. open sounding naman kung off the skin.

mga bro.. share ko lng.. im using heel toe technique.. pero ang masasabi ko lang dito,, mahirap talaga sya at limitado lang. ksi 1st of all u need a long footboard.. yan ang problema ko.. di ,mo sya pede gawin pag dating sa mga ordinaring pedal.. kaya un.. pero masarap pag nakuha nyo.. sakin kaya nakuha ko sya.. kasi maliit lang ang paa ko.. im using a pear p122tw powershifter pedal.. i use to practice it slowly and try to experiment para makuha nyo ung tamang bounce.. at para maging komportable ang foot nyo sa pedal.... hope that helps.. mga bro.. cheers!  :-)

http://www.drumheads.org/richmedia/tips/heeltoevids/heeltoe1.zip

I just merged the Heel-Toe Technique thread with this Footwork Technique thread.  So, (almost) all the footwork discussions and stuff can be found here.

Okay, back to topic.....
