i read in anthony's bio the day when he and john had a heartfelt conversation. that was the phase when john lost some of his teeth and anthony's checking out if he's capable of giving it another shot. anthony,i think asked for forgiveness.

basta ako pinaka emulated kong style ni JF is yung beat/tempo kaskasan nya.. he often says that when he plays he treats the guitars like a drums.. and his strumming to be compared on beats.. thus making his funky licks and progressions..

so kung hindi ka masyado sanay mag mute on specific notes mejo hindi maganda ang tunog..

kaya when you jam with a funk bassist kahit free for all hindi panget pakinggan.

Kakapakinig ko lang uli. Everytime na babalik doon sa verse lick na yun eh iba ang effects.

Sa 1st verse yata yung una parang clean lang, 2nd time is kapareho ng sa 2nd half ng 1st chorus.

Sa 2nd verse yung unang part kakaiba nga hehe, basta parang modulations na ang bilis ng rate. Yung 2nd time naman na bumalik eh parang may reverb, wet sa left almost dry sa right. tama ba? haha

That chord progression! Pabotiro ni JF yan! Maririnig mo sa Scar Tissue, By The Way, Tear, Dosed, Dani California, Slow Cheetah, Under The Bridge. Sa solo work nya andami din, Unreachable, Omission, Second Walk, Wednesday Song, Unchanging, Your Pussy's Glued at marami pang ibang variation. Iba-ibang key lang yung ginamit nya pero ganun parin yung effect. Ang malupit dun kaya nyang humugot ng ibatibang melody based sa chord progression na yun pero hindi magkakatunog! A very good example is The Past Recedes at I'm Around! Pareho ng chords pero they are two completely different songs! May mga kanta din sya na magkakatunog yung vocal melody BUT the feeling of the song is different! Example yung Moments Have You at Interior Two. The genius of John Frusciante!!

Oo nga. Naasiwa lang ako doon sa title ng thread sa classifieds. And maling wh-10 pa. Ibang year yata yung nasa pic na nasa pinost niya (black color). Nagsearch ako, yung black wh-10 90s ginawa, yung kay frus grey, 80s yata.

Nakatry ka na sir ng wh-10? merong reissue sa audiophile parang ang sarap itest hehe

ginamit ni fru both versions.. I think may mga pics ng pedalboard nya with the black WH10 on it.. 

nakagamit na ako nyan dati, parang nothing special naman sa tone nya, altho I want to get one just for the sake of having a piece of fru's placebo effect tone with me hehe.
