I'm using a Small Clone right now.  I simply love that pedal!  One problem though, when I stomp on it I can really hear the clicks from the footswitch through the amp.  It's somewhat annoying esp. at high volume setup.

Is it "normal" or may problema na kaya Small Clone ko? Huwag naman sana, ugh! :-(

Well... I would say that it should NOT be normal but some of the EHX pedals behave like that. Does it happen if you use the pedal alone? Without any other pedals connected to it? I think this is also evident in some of the Small Stone pedals... I guess you could just have the store check it for you?

Ask riccabb... maybe he can do wonders with this quirk.

Friend of mine also bought a Nano Clone and fortunately... it does not have any loud click when first engaged.

Thanks for the tip sir!  I haven't really tried it standalone.  Subukan ko muna.  I'll definitely ask riccabb if the loud click persists.

yeah... correct. Some do not notice it but THERE IS still a slight touch of Fuzziness to it and to which I stay away...  :| If I want a high gain fuzz... the Big Muff will suffice. But still a great pedal... high gain? Yes! Durability! Of course! Sound? Near perfect!

Kindly read the entire thread again.

Kindly read also the original post by the author of the thread man...

Hey guys! I just wanted to start this thread specifically for Electroharmonix users...

We can talk about: reviews, how to tweak the pedals, show and tell of EHX gear, etc...

Currently, I only have 3 ehx pedals with me and another one coming in soon... so If you're an EHX user, let's talk about your gear...

post away guys!  :-D

and err.... I've been contributing in this topic since masterchoxter created this thread.... :?

but anyhow.... this is just a forum... so...

cheers

Oh, I'm terribly sorry.

Here you go:

I'm currently using an EHX Micro Metal Muff, which also has a top boost. It has served me well but I have to sell it since I need something with a built-in equalizer. :-(

I've actually been playing with it for quite some time now. I have a separate equalizer pedal to shape my tone but I still feel the need to have more control over my sound since I have 4 other pedals in the chain. :-D

And while you're at it, why don't you call these people's attention as well?

i have a pocket metal muff... lol... interested? am thinking of getting something heavier... lol

HAHA. Alright... I call these people's attention. Hear ye hear ye... let's post our stuff in buy/ sell section..  :-D  silly....

chill man... this is all about the love of EHX...  not about rambling why you need to sell your EHX stuff here. You know for a fact that we do have a BUY and SELL forum... forget it if the others posted already dude. Let's just make this thread clean and spread the goodness EHX pedal makers do...

In case you haven't noticed, the thread starter himself talked about his EHX pedal that was for sale.

But don't worry, I'll stop rambling so as not to ruin "your" thread.

let's keep cool people... i made a mistake as well and am going to delete the specific post... anyway, let's keep on talking about EHX pedals...

does anyone have any clips of the modulations aside from the EHX website itself? like live soundclick mp3s?

that also happens to me but only when i stomp on it for the first time. after that, i don't hear any more clicks.

i have a pocket metal muff... lol... am thinking of getting something heavier though... lol

afaik, may kinalaman yan sa loading ng capacitors sa pedal. kaya pag first time inapakan may click, after that nawawala na yung tunog. correct me if i'm wrong na lang.

EHX fan here too!! i was fortunate na magkaron ng 3 EHX pedals: Metal Muff with Top Boost, Tube EQ, at English Muff'n.

my English Muff'n is for sale right now (shameless plug! haha!). gaya ng Tube EQ, im only selling it kasi i need cash right now. i'll retract it kaagad basta nakapag-raise na ko ng funds. Marshall in a box yung tunog nitong pedal na to. it works both as a distortion pedal and as a preamp. hindi pa ko pinapahiya ng pedal na to ever pagdating sa gigs. and because the tubes in it are working the way they should be, ang ganda ng response niya sa picking dynamics. even at full gain, hindi ko kelangan patayin yung pedal if i want to have a clean sound. roll off lang ng volume knob ang katapat. tapos hindi lang basta clean na masabing clean tone lang, sparkly clean pa yung roll off sound niya.

dagdag ko rin yung isa kong "EHX pedal". may DIY EHX LPB-1 clone ako. simple booster lang siya. hindi siya transparent, may emphasis sa lower mids yung boost niya but that's ok with me. kasi napaka-musical nung boost niya. nadadagdagan ng buhay yung tunog. mas trip ko tunog nito personally kaysa Microamp. sometimes i set my English muff'n with gain at 11:00, tapos itong LPB gain at 11:00 rin. now, infinite possibilities na sa clean-slight dirt-dirty-crunch-crunchier-distorted sound ang kaya kong gawin with this setup together with my guitar's volume knob.

Good information! Make sense...

I'm currently GASsin on this one on E-bay. I dunno if it justifies the hefty price.
