sir tnx for the info..follow lang po sir sa JH 186 on 1850 cabs...how about the TNT 18" AKDSW ok din ba to gamitin sa 1850..basta ung matigas ang bass nya..un lang din muna swak sa budget ko...

  :? :? Check your amp's power rating if it matches with the woofers.  Occasionally monitor the CLIP indicators too.  A common cause of speaker failure is an underpowered, low quality amp.  A low quality, generic speaker is also a major reason.  :-) :-)

The PD184 resembles more of the C18 650 with power ratings of 600 to 650 watts.  Under a hornresp (inside a WSX sub) which I extracted from another forum,  here is the result:

dear Sirs, i got 186s which is pretty similar to 1850, just a bit warmer I guess than 1850 bin. Initially I installed TNT 18 but this driver didnt last long. Those cabs are designed for the drivers with strong motor and basket, with a higher xmax and bl and good qts. I installed SD18EL and its just right for this box. This bin is not so big but brutal especially in group of 4, best for the live setup, but thats just me.

I would like to share my old L-36 subwoofer, we have been using it since 1996 loaded with Cerwin Vega L-1815, enclosure is made by MB.  :-)

Dude, the latest model of Fane Colossus 18xb which indicates that it is 800 watts as compared to the old Fane (like ours) with just 600 watts declared power rating is NOT ACCURATE.  Read below a thread I extracted from another forum regarding the new batch of Fane speakers.  Give more attention on the last paragraph.  :roll:
