salamat kaayo, medyo basic pa setup ko dynamic mic palang gamit ko. nagiipon nga ako para sa at2020 na mic. okay naman daw siya. mahal pa mashado yung nt1a pero mukang napakaokay nun hehe. i'm also saving up for a control surface...bcf and bcr siguro. hay. antay lang. ilang swelduhan pa at makakamit din ang pangarap!

OT:  yup,  halos kapresyo na ng shockmount yun at2020.  been usin an at2020 myself without a shockmount.  di ko kasi ma-justify bumili ng shockmount na ka-presyo ng mic.  hehe.

OT: ayus ah...dre,try mo sa audiomidi...lam ko masmura dun.lam ko naman pareho lang sila ng sweetwater ng lugar ata...shockmount..kelangan po talaga shockmount, kahit nga di nakalagay to sa mismong stand..magagamit mo pa din ang mic basta may shockmount.may mura naman ata dito pinas.dre pila man ang at2020 karun?este magkano pala...hehehe..astig bili ka din ng rode nt1a?ayus sa kumbinasyon ah.

OT:  yup,  halos kapresyo na ng shockmount yun at2020.  been usin an at2020 myself without a shockmount.  di ko kasi ma-justify bumili ng shockmount na ka-presyo ng mic.  hehe.

 

Find an inexpensive shockmount that has the same diameter as the 2020 mic body. MXL makes several shockmounts that can fit round body mics. Try here.

Then there is also this: Universal Mic Shockmount which is priced at $25 I think. 

Lastly, there is the DIY route. Examples are here and here. These look like the Universal shockmount from the previous paragraph and they seem more tailored for thin body and shotgun mics. Might be a problem for vertically positioned, heavy body mics.

yes sirkitC gift sa akin ung EM and couple of Recording magazines nung Christmas kaya i saw the Ultralite...hehehe prized possesion talaga.puro puri sa kanya e..one thing kaya nagpush talaga sa aking kunin to.kahit way out sa budget..kaya ngayon..nyek nyek suffering the bittersweet consequences hehhe(ang gulo) pwede pa ding rockmount to.kaso, may kasama sya metal pegs...di ko lang gamit kasi swak na talaga sya dun sa lugar ko...pero ideally talaga, sideview sya masmaganda para pasok dun sa I/Os kita mo din...ngatz.gbu

i've always wanted to have an akai mpd 16 pero la pa budget.  medyo bugbog na nga yun keys ko when i do drums sequencin.

Thats why I got hold of an SPD-11 some years back. Try doing a timpani roll on the keys.

hehe.  know exactly what you mean.  buti na lang there's no local akai distributor.  it actually helps me save when the product's not available locally.  hehe.

i've been wonderin bout those spd-11's.  i've seen em at yupangco.  huge pads!  they look pretty durable.

ayus xboard sir.incl proteus.right for the price lang talaga.ok naman aftertouch nya sir.and yan din talaga reason ko kaya bumili ako akai mpd 16..nagsale nga yan nung binili ko e...just last year..ewan ko na kung ganun pa din...bili na kayo!ngatz.gbu

so far wala pa akong kilalang gumagamit nyan. kasi from what ive heard its too limited daw.

how bout cubase vst 5.1 mga sir?  anyone still usin it?

kinda have a love-hate relationship with mine.  ok siya cause for an old prog, cause it works very well with my dual core processor - and most importantly, my emulator X.  however, my only beef's that there's only one level of undo.  hehe.

hindi naman too limited ..=)

in my case i find it very flexible.. =)
it has midi and audio recording functions

and i use it live onstage sa performance.. ganun kabilis umandar ung program..
and kapag nag aarange ka ng song.. pede ka mag palit palit ng beat patterns..basslines... gitars ekek... pag hahalo halo mo ung parts ..testing testing =)

siguro and mejo di pa ko confident eh ung mastering ... di ko pa talaga alam kung oki mag master don.. i still throw the mixdown file sa soundforge =)
