@ Ryan3

Oo, tatagal ang B8 kung wasto ang pagpalo. 8-)
So Be It.

According to the Zildjian website..

Cast Bronze Cymbals

Labor of Love. Each Zildjian Cast Bronze cymbal is individually cast from the secret Zildjian alloy formulated over 380 years ago. Using finishing processes refined over centuries, craftsmen create the distinguished cymbals played by the world’s greatest drummers and percussionists– including you.

Sheet Bronze Cymbals

Zildjian Bronze Technology. Beginning with precisely identical bronze discs, sheet cymbals are shaped, hammered and lathed with the same care as all Zildjian cymbals. Their voices have a higher pitch, more focused overtones and a faster decay than Cast Bronze cymbals and produce a more consistent sound from cymbal to cymbal.

in my own words..

CAST-speaks in variation..no 2 cymbals are exactly alike..so every cymbals has a different personality. They accept better amount of abuse compared to sheet. They are more expensive but you do get what you pay for.

SHEET-has a more predictable sound pattern..their ok as long as you like what your hearing..that's what is important anyway. They are more affordable.

Hope this helps..

tunog talaga.. choose from the higher ends of cymbals line..

hmm.. buy in jb or perfect pitch or ypangco or yamaha..
as for b8.. ok ung ride at hats nun.,.. kaso ung crash dun
ang delikado.. since metal pa paluan mo... baka mapunit kagad..
so kung over all try zbt pro.. or zht... kung may budget ka
na 25k.. buy xs20rock ba un or metal ng sabian..
or maghunt ka dito.. pero great deal na ung paiste na sinabe ko..
inquire ka na dun.. or tingin tingin.. madameng offers
sa classified.. :-D

it would be better if ikaw mismo ang pumunta sa store at itest yung cymbals...iba pa din kasi kung ikaw makakaexperience ng mismong cymbal..and to determine what brand do you want...let your ears decide... :-)

again the classic kuestion sino mas matibay...well ur cymbal life will depend also on the way you are goin to use it..if you're a hard hitting drummer and play heavy then go for larger size cymbals like an 18 crash medium to heavy size...consider the genre you are playin with your cymbal decision

If I wanted a cymbal set to sound great even if it doesn't cost that much, what would you guys recommend?

I want a simple set up like the ff:

14" hats
16" crash
18" crash ride

I was thinking of paiste or planet Z?
Well, I'll leave it up to you guys. Tnx.
