for me mga awesome relic strats na gustu ko ay kay rory galagher, john frucianteeee, mayer of course and kay SRV, damn gotta have those, for me bagay talaga relic looks on a rosewood board adds the machismo looks unlike maple ones na parang somethings missing hahaha

Guys, paano ninyo pinapadilaw ng husto yung maple necks ninyo? I hear mild exposure to the sun will help in yellowing it..thanks..

most vintage style strat was painted w/ yellowish tint already.. some strats thru age narin. you dont want to put it under the sun because may neck warp sometimes due to heat, in my experience just use it regularly and it will naturally aged.

The tint on my roadhouse strat is far better than the ones in the new standard 09-latest maple neck tints..

Actually you can just buy the pearl buttons and screw it on top of fender standard tuners.. They are available from stewmac and are cheaper than $18 a pop.. Thats what Im planning to do for both my guitars when I get the chance to mod them.
