i plan to get an RJ LP copy or Strat copy then change the headstock logo with my name pwd ba un?

Nag-iiba kasi yung logo nila over the years.  Depende kung silkscreened or inlayed.  Yung nasa pic ni inkslingerx mukhang silkscreened.  I guess you can sand it down if you're careful not to remove the surrounding black finish.  Then silkscreen ur own name or logo, finish with clearcoat.  That's the idea.  Kung inlays yung logo, syempre mas mahirap.

nakapunta ako nung bagong bukas na RJ music sa megamall. May mga nakita akong BC RICH, authentic ba yung mga yun? kasi parang hindi ako na o-authentican, may barnis kasi yung buong gitara eh lolz and halos pareho ng mga display na RJ.

actually they are authentic. bc rich has moved their factory in vietnam from china and indonesia. they share the same factory with the new esp/ltds. but what you see are the old, discontinued exotic series. may serial sa likod.

I see. Somehow the guitars weren't really superior neither mediocre in construction, IMO. The finish from the side of the neck really sucked and the fretboard was bad. Not what I expected from BC Rich models that I saw in catalogues before, did it change or was it the same BC Rich construction from before?

and by the way, RJ mark is just a mask, there is a brand name underneath the paint  , will have to find out soon

its fine and no surprised on the darkening of the rosewood fretboard to give it that look, its common in asian made guitars, some do it to give it that 'ebony-esque' look but i have it done to my guitars to make some of the grain pattern come out

depends on what year really. i had japanese bc rich guitars before and they had decent finish, action and construction. even the chinese or korean bronze series were ok too. ewan ko kung ano nangyari diyan sa vietnam made bc rich. andami balikong fretwire, over glue, stains etc. pero feeling ko naman kaya linisin or iset up. for the price, puwede na. considering you are getting spalted maple top over mahogany guitars. neck through din. and those rockfield pups sound like the duncan designed stuff.

mura at ganyan yan kasi inorder ata nila yan by bulk kasi nakatambak lang sa factory. the exotic series was discontinued two years ago. kaya siguro dami na dry boards, at nagtatalunang fretwire.

This lucky S.O.B. (left-most) came out with two(!!) ESP LTD EC-256. 15++k something indicated at the regular price tag, so for that price, he gets two of them.  And he got the last stocks, imagine the evil feelings I have for the guy as he waited to pay for his guitars.

thats a surprised probably the bach's LP copies didnt sell well hence sold to rj, i've seen re-logo'd guitars done in a factory
