ewan ko kung napost na to, zakk wylde auditioned for GNR at the same auditioned for ozzy. at first ozzy doesn't like the playing style of zakk and that time he was not sober when he listened to the demo. desperate to find a new guitarist ozzy listen to the demo again and he was blown away. ozzy contacted zakk to play for him and then the rest is history...

"MICAWBER" is the name of Keith Richards' favorite Telecaster with a humbucker neck PU and a brass plated bridge with only 1-5 strings attached in an open G tuning..He got the name from a character in the novel of Charles Dickens "David Copperfield"

yup and its by the brilliant mind of axl.. i wouldnt know if zakk appeared on any of the gnr concerts though.. anyone?

- well for me it's better of that way because both axl and zakk paved their way to be a guitar icon!...

Do you know that Foo Fighter's drummer Taylor Hawkins did all the drum parts for Coheed and Cambria's 4th album entitled "Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV Part II: No World For Tomorrow"

This was after former drummer Josh Eppard left the band before recording the studio album and before they manage to grab hold of former-drummer of The Dilinger Escape Plan: Chris Pennie. It was mentioned that Chris could not join them as early as the recording of the said album because of a contract. So all that known, Taylor Hawkins agreed to play as the studio drummer for Coheed's album.

Claudio Sanchez, vocalist/guitarist of Coheed and Cambria is heavily influenced by Pink Floyd that he personally claimed that the song "The Final Cut" was because of his fondness of Pink Floyd. He tried his best in the solos section to capture David Gilmour's tone by using a Fender Strat(?) rather than his standard Gibson Explorer..

When Eric Clapton left the Yardbirds,
from wikipedia:
Clapton recommended Jimmy Page, a studio guitarist he knew (and with whom he would soon cut a series of stirring blues guitar duets, including "Tribute to Elmore" and "Draggin' My Tail"), as his replacement, but Page, uncertain at the time about giving up his lucrative studio work and worried about his health, recommended in turn his friend Jeff Beck. Beck's playing style and bent for experimentation pushed the Yardbirds toward a "psychedelic rock" sound. He played his first gig with the Yardbirds only two days after Clapton's departure.

Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page both at the same time played for the Yardbirds, no records was able to document their dual lead playing...
